02 — Service
The Service
Waveform is a browser-based audio visualization tool that allows users to upload audio files, generate geometric visual art synchronized to that audio, and download the resulting video. The Service operates entirely within your browser — no audio files are transmitted to or stored on any server.
We provide the Service on an "as-is" basis and reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without prior notice. We are not liable for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.
The Service is currently provided free of charge during a beta period. We may introduce paid features in the future with appropriate notice to users.
03 — Intellectual Property
Intellectual Property
The Waveform software, visual design, brand, and underlying code are the intellectual property of Waveform and its creators. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or redistribute any part of the Service itself without explicit written permission.
The visual output generated by Waveform — the video art created using your own audio — is yours. We claim no ownership over videos you create using the Service.
04 — Your Content
Your Content & License
You retain full ownership of any audio files you upload and the visual content you generate using the Service. By using Waveform, you represent and warrant that:
- You own the rights to any audio you upload, or have obtained all necessary permissions and licences to use it.
- Your use of the Service does not infringe on the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party.
- You will not use the Service to process audio to which you do not have rights.
Since all processing occurs locally in your browser, we do not receive, store, or access your audio files. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of any audio complies with applicable laws and licensing terms.
05 — Privacy & Data

07 — Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every file format, browser, or device. You use the Service at your own risk. We recommend keeping backup copies of your audio files and any generated videos.
08 — Liability
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Waveform and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Service.
This includes but is not limited to loss of data, revenue, profits, or any other economic loss, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
09 — Changes
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated to users who have signed up with their email address.
Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with revised Terms, please stop using the Service.
